While you don't need healthcare experience to apply to our 16-month1 ABSN program, you do need some non-nursing college education to be admitted to the program.

You must have a minimum:

  • 60 non-nursing college credits or a non-nursing bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, depending on the ABSN location you’re applying to.
  • Cumulative 3.0 or higher GPA for all 60 credits of pre-nursing coursework applied to the program.
  • Cumulative 3.25 GPA in the ABSN prerequisite courses.

Don't meet these requirements? You still may be eligible to take the ABSN prerequisite courses with GCU. Fill out the form above to speak to an academic advisor that can help you find your path.
